Reasonable Compensation
S corporations with shareholder-employees should have a reasonable compensation report done annually for each person to be able to provide proof to the IRS that the salaries paid are indeed "Reasonable".
The IRS is increasing their enforcement efforts to catch taxpayers who are not in compliance. The IRS can and has reclassed distributions as wages resulting in increased taxes, penalties and interest.
Accounting / Bookkeeping / Payroll
If you prefer to do everything yourself, and you just need someone to keep a record of your financial transactions, then after-the-fact bookkeeping might be for you.
If you need someone to do everything for you (A/R including billing, A/P including paying the bills, Payroll) than you probably want full service bookkeeping. Maybe all you need is Payroll, we offer full service payroll where we pay the payroll taxes, file all the reports as well as issue W2s and 1099s. Direct deposit is available.
Tax Services
We prepare and e-file income tax returns. (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1040) As part of our service we briefly review your financial statements and transactions reclassing transactions where necessary.
1040 with schedules C, E, and/or F. Personal returns related to a business or from client referrals.
